In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tyndalale Publishing President/CEO David Hill said that his publisher’s collection of indie-pop songs has surpassed 50 million tracks.
He also said that the company is in talks with record labels to offer new releases and digital downloads of albums from those artists.
“It’s been a long, long road.
I’ve always been a huge Tyndalescore fan, and now that it’s coming together and we’re at a point where we’re going to be able to do something really special, I think it’s worth it,” Hill said.
“It’s a huge milestone for us, for the company, for Tyndalia.
We really hope that it gets a lot of exposure and that it really does take off and really bring more awareness to the Tyndalscore music.”
He added, “It was always my dream to do a collection of albums for people to listen to on vinyl, but this time we’ve really taken it to the next level.
I feel like it’s going to take off.
We’re working on some new vinyl releases and we’ve got a lot to look forward to.”
While Hill hasn’t revealed any new releases, he did say that “some of the artists we’ve picked up for the future” will also be coming out in the near future.
“We’re in discussions with labels and we hope to have some great music out in 2018.
There’s no release date set yet, but we’ll definitely be making some announcements about it when the time is right.”
Hill also said the Tynda-owned imprint will be launching a “major label” initiative in 2018, with artists like Beck and Tyndallay coming on board.
“We’re definitely on the right track.
We’ll be launching our first major label, with some of the best artists on the planet.
It’ll be a big move for Tynda, and we want to make sure it’s a success,” he said.
Hill added that Tynda will also announce a new vinyl label that will include a variety of new artists, which will be “designed for artists that are really good at what they do.”
Hill has been an active musician since childhood, and has released a number of music videos for his favorite artists, including Kanye West, Lil Jon, Justin Timberlake, and more.
He previously worked with indie label FWD.us, which released his debut album, the acclaimed “In Your Arms.”
Hill recently announced that he’s working on another solo album, which he is calling “Losing My Edge,” and has also been in talks about a new collaboration with Kanye West.
Hill’s announcement comes at a time when the indie-rock label has been in a very strong position.
The Tyndaly Publishing imprint has consistently been in the top three of the charts for the past three years, and it’s recently added artists like the Weeknd, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga.
In addition, Hill recently sold the first printing of his new book, “Swing Your Way to Freedom,” to Amazon for $1 million.
He is currently working on a new book about the evolution of indie music and also is preparing to release a collection from his own label, “Barefoot.”
