Retail giant Holman Publishers announced Monday it will be a part of Walmart’s “Big Five” publishing businesses, and it will focus on the retail channel.
Holman’s CEO David Jones said the company will be focusing on the online and social media channels as well as the e-commerce and distribution channels.
Holmmans business model is to provide “a broad portfolio of titles to a wide audience and offer the widest selection of titles,” Jones said in a statement.
“The business model has allowed us to focus on expanding our audience and delivering a high-quality product that meets customer expectations.”
Walmart has been in the Bible publishing business since 1993.
The company said last year it would focus on Bible publishing to increase its presence in the market.
