Austin Macauley Publishers is no longer publishing new books by Austin Macawley.
The publisher announced on Thursday that the publisher had ended its agreement with the author after she received death threats.
The cancellation comes a day after she was charged with threatening to murder her husband, who died of AIDS-related complications in 2013.
Macauly was found guilty of threatening her husband with death in 2014.

Macawly’s previous books include the novel The Lost City, which won the 2016 National Book Award for fiction, and The Girl Who Came Out of the Jungle, a memoir by former New York Times journalist Lidia Yuknavitch, about a woman who returns to her native Australia to investigate the murder of her parents.
She was also the author of The Girl and the Beast and The Princess and the Frog.
Macooly’s work includes the novel A New World of Tomorrow, published by Penguin Group in 2018.
Her books include The Secret Life of the Sea Turtle, the novel My Name is Not My Name and The Black Hole.
